Apu Lightweight Puffer
Sustainable Jackets That Perform
Until now, the outerwear industry has been limited to mainly two options for insulating jackets: goose down (obtained by killing geese) and synthetics (made with oil). PAKA Apu Series jackets are instead made with natural PAKAFILL® insulation, ethically sourced from free-roaming alpaca in Peru. Having evolved in an extreme climate above 15,000 feet, this thermoregulating alpaca fiber is warmer than any synthetic insulation on the market, while its natural air pockets provide better moisture control than down insulation with half of the volume. A bluesign® certified, PFAS-free and water-repellent stretch shell complements our PAKAFILL® insulation to make the Apu Series the highest-performing sustainable jackets for skiing, snowboarding and other outdoor adventures.
